JORDAN

Day 1: AIRPORT / AMMAN

Arrival at Amman airport, visa processing, and transfer to the reserved hotel. Dinner (if you arrive at the hotel before 9:00 PM) and accommodation.

Day 2: AMMAN / JERASH / AJLUN / AMMAN CITY TOUR

Breakfast. Departure to the city of Jerash, one of the Decapolis cities. Jerash is located north of Amman, approximately 45 km and an hour’s drive away. During the excursion, we will visit the Arch of Triumph, the Oval Plaza, the Cardo, the Colonnaded Street, the Temple of Aphrodite, and finally, the Roman Theatre, with wonderful acoustics. Afterward, we will visit Ajlun Castle, a fortress built in 1185 and later rebuilt in the 13th century by the Mamluks after its destruction by the Mongols. It is a castle from the time of the Crusaders, located atop the mountain and offering a beautiful view. After the visit, return to Amman for a city tour, visiting its most important avenues, the Citadel, the urban center, and the Roman Theatre. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: AMMAN / DEAD SEA / AMMAN (WITHOUT GUIDE)

After breakfast, immerse yourself in the wonders of the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth. Experience its therapeutic waters. Return to Amman, dinner, and accommodation.

Day 4: AMMAN / MADABA / MOUNT NEBO / SHOBAK PANORAMIC / PETRA

Breakfast. Departure to visit the Orthodox Church of St. George, where the first mosaic map of Palestine is located. Continue to Mount Nebo to admire the panoramic view of the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea from the mountain. This place is important because it was the last place visited by Moses and from where the prophet saw the promised land, which he would never reach. We then head to Shobak Castle, a lonely reminder of the ancient glory of the Crusaders, built in 1115 by King Baldwin, it was built as a defense along the road between Damascus and Egypt. The Castle is located less than an hour north of Petra. Sometimes referred to as “Mont Real or Mons Regalis,” it is nestled on the mountainside, overlooking a wide area of fruit trees. Departure to Petra. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 5: PETRA

Breakfast. Full day dedicated to visiting the pink city, the capital of the Nabateans. During the visit, we will explore the most important and representative monuments carved into the rock by the Nabateans. The Treasury, a famous and internationally known monument featured in one of the Indiana Jones movies, the Colored Tombs, the Royal Tombs, etc. Petra is one of those places in the world that you must visit at least once in your lifetime. After the visit, in the afternoon, return to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 6: PETRA / LITTLE PETRA / WADI RUM (2HR 4X4)

Breakfast. Departure to what is known as “Little Petra,” just 15 km north of Petra. A gorge of just 2 meters wide with its typical Nabatean architecture makes this visit unique and incomparable. It was inhabited by the Nabateans and has many tombs, water containers, and channels; it has a small path that leads to some of the interior area, Siq Al Bared, the scale of this area and the fact that it is the continuation of Petra, gave it the name of Little Petra. Departure to Wadi Rum, Lawrence of Arabia’s desert. Excursion in the Wadi Rum desert and a 2-hour 4×4 ride driven by the Bedouins, consisting of a small tour in the lunar landscape of this desert. We will venture into the pink sands of this desert, which has a special charm provided by the granite massifs that nature has shaped into whimsical forms. After the visit, dinner and accommodation at the camp.

Day 7: WADI RUM / AMMAN

Breakfast in the desert, to AQABA for a panoramic tour. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel in Amman.

Day 8: AMMAN / AIRPORT

Breakfast. Free day to experience Amman at your own pace. We will provide personalized advice to recommend places to visit. At the indicated time, transfer to the airport for your regular flight back to your home country.

2. An English-speaking driver during transfers is not guaranteed.
3. Transfers are only included on the days of arrival and departure of the tour. Any other day will be charged as an additional transfer.
