Day 1: SIEM REAP. Arrival in Siem Reap, home of Angkor Wat, Cambodia

Arrival at Siem Reap International Airport. Welcome to a new Continent: ASIA. Welcome to a new Country: CAMBODIA. Reception by our team and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Free time. Accommodation.

Day 2: SIEM REAP. Tour of the Angkor Temples

After buffet breakfast at the hotel, begin your sightseeing tour of the Angkor Wat area. We will spend the whole day exploring the wonderful ancient ruins with the south gate of Angkor Thom, famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon temple, the royal enclosure, Phimeanakas, the terrace of the elephants, the terrace of the leper king, and the Angkor Wat temple, the largest and most complete. This architectural masterpiece was built in the 12th century and covers an area of approximately 210 hectares. We stroll through the huge building, seeing the numerous galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards, and a pond filled with water reflecting the imposing temple, and the jungle-covered Ta Prohm temple is an incredible sight. Enormous fig trees and giant vines embrace the stone foundations of the structure, giving the impression that man’s creation is being reclaimed by the powerful force of nature. Return to the hotel, accommodation.

Day 3: SIEM REAP. Phnom Kulen Park and Beng Mealea Temple

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart in the morning from the hotel with transportation to Phnom Kulen National Park. Drive through vast rice fields and scattered villages with traditional houses before ascending the rocky road to the mountain top. Phnom Kulen is widely known as the birthplace of the ancient Khmer Empire. During the construction of the ancient temples, sandstone was brought from this sacred mountain to Angkor. Phnom Kulen is considered the most sacred mountain in Cambodia. Visit the river of 1000 Lingas, divided into three parts for the Hindu trinity of gods, with a riverbed full of thousands of ancient unique carvings of Lingas and Yoni under the flow of the sacred river water, making it holy water. Ascend to the hilltop to admire the Buddhist Pagoda and the large statue of Reclining Buddha, which is a sacred place where local people worship, filled with lotus flowers and incense with a very pleasant scent. Continue to the Kulen mountain waterfall, pausing at two beautiful swimming spots where we can enjoy refreshing ourselves with cool water. Lunch break. We continue to visit Beng Mealea temple, located 40 km east of the main temple group in Angkor. It was built as a Hindu temple, but there are some carvings representing Buddhist motifs. Its main material is sandstone and it is largely unrestored, with trees and dense vegetation thriving among its towers and courtyards, and many of its stones lie in large heaps. It is known as the jungle temple that was very in ruins and is under trees. Return to the hotel, accommodation.

Day 4: SIEMP REAP. Visit to the great lake, Tonle Sap, and floating village

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers from Siem Reap. Take a boat ride in a traditional wooden boat on Tonle Sap Lake, the “Great Lake” of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia. Spend the rest of the time visiting the “Chantiers Ecoles – Les Artisans d’Angkor,” which provides training to young Cambodians in an effort to revive the ancient Khmer traditions of stone carving and sculpture. At the specified time, transfer to the airport for the return flight to your home countries.
